Sea and Surf Week
This course is designed to develop your existing sea kayaking and surf skills. We will take you into sea and surf conditions that will test your existing skills and reinforce their strengths as well as looking at areas on which you can improve. We will look at all the aspects involved in being a competent sea kayaker including navigation, tide races and rescues in rough water; and the key elements of surf including wave selection and pick-up and manoeuvring on the wave.
Is this course for you?
You need to have been sea kayaking fairly often or be a competent grade two paddler for this course to be right for you. You also need to have been in the surf once or twice before. You don’t necessarily need to be able to roll every time but you at least need to have a good idea of what the roll involves.

Expedition
A sea kayaking-camping expedition in southern Spain. Based in the province of Andalusia potential venues include Gibraltar, Tarifa and crossing the Straits to Morocco.

This expedition is aimed at paddlers with or at the level of BCU 4*.
