Cadence Sea

During 2011 Alistair Wilson who built up Lendal over many years, decided he wanted to design a flat water race trainer. This has been built and named the Cadence. This hull if the maths is right will do 6.4 knots.
With Alistairs permission SKUK have designed a deck that converts the trainer into a safe race trainer for the sea. Its relatively stable and has an oval hatch in the stern, a day hatch and a round hatch in the front deck. The cockpit has been designed so the kayak can be paddled with both knees up as per a K1 or in rough water the paddler can drop his or her knees and brace in knee bumps either side of the wide keyhole.
The kayak is suitable for the open sea but it is not intended as a rough water kayak. The kayak is fitted with a rudder.
Construction: As standard the Cadence is supplied as an Elite construction but there is also the option of a Carbon / Kevlar construction. The C/K kayak is approx 18 kg.

The kayak is fitted with a rudder., length: 565 cm, width: 53 cm, depth: 31 cm, overall volume: 0 litres, front hatch volume: 0 litres, cockpit volume: 0 litres, day hatch volume: 0 litres, rear hatch volume: 0 litres.
