Alain Antognelli
Adventure photographer, for whom life in the great outdoors is second nature.
He went from rowing to hang gliding to paragliding.
Author of the first non-motorized flights over Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.
At the end of the 90s, he discovered the potential of long-term sea kayaking.
In 2009, he undertook a series of navigation trips around Greenland with Nathalie, his wife, with the aim of witnessing and sharing the life of the Inuit.
At the end of 2024, the couple has completed 8 seasons of navigation and 8,000 km on site.
Between two navigations, they winter in small villages in the northwest of the country and live with polar bear hunters at 76°01’00” north in Savissivik, a small community of fifty inhabitants.
In 2015, this human adventure culminated in the release of “The Soul of the ice”, a book and a film of which they are the protagonists, authors and directors. http://www.phototeam-nature.com/le-film/
In 2016, they temporarily left the Arctic for a five-month journey, which saw them travel from Monaco to Athens.
Still on board two HV explorers, which have never lived up to their names so well.
