Touring Blades
Our standard blade shapes for touring are the kinetic range and the omega range.
Kinetik Range
The Kinetic is our most popular touring blade shape.
We manufacture it in different sizes to accommodate a range of paddlers and paddling styles. This blade shape has proved it's worth on countless adventures. It is spooned across the width of the power face allowing for greater power transfer, with pressure directed to the centre of the power face during the paddle stroke. This blade shape is designed to maximise catch and deliver power from start to finish in every stroke. The number in the name refers to the area in cm2.

Omega Range (Dihedral)
Compared to our Kinetic blade shape, the Omega's dihedral design means it is less likely to twist and flutter during paddle strokes, requiring a lighter grip. The outer edges of the power face curve away from the centre, directing flow across the face of the blade. This makes for a forgiving and comfortable paddler experience, especially when performing blended strokes. However, it delivers a little less power stroke for stroke than our Kinetic blade shape. The Omega range is again designed with touring in mind; like the Kinetic, it is shaped to maximise catch, and we manufacture this blade in several blade areas to accommodate a range of paddlers.

Nordkapp
This blade has an approximate area of 725cm2, providing a lot of punch for those able to wield it. This blade has a large area and will really stick in the water, delivering huge power for manoeuvring strokes.
Archipelago
This blade has an approximate area of 650cm2. It is designed to maximise catch and pull for those who have a high stroke angle. It has a much flatter end than the Kinetic blade shape and maintains its width higher up the blade.
Surf
Reef
The Reef delivers high power on every stroke to ensure you can catch every wave. Its large area (715cm2) and shape make it ideal for high-angle power strokes and carving strokes alike.
Fusion (Dihedral)
The Fusion has an area of approximately 700cm2. Its dihedral shape makes it very easy to perform blended strokes, and it will always perform even in the dynamic, changing environments of surf or white water.
Whitewater
Power
The Power has an area of 625cm2; however, its profile is cut for high-angle strokes normally associated with the white-water discipline.
XTI (Dihedral)
The XTI has a similar cut to the Power, again designed for the high-angle power strokes used in white-water kayaking. The XTI is slightly bigger than the Power at 675cm2. The XTI is a dihedral blade, making it ideal for performing blended strokes that will keep you dead on your line when you need it.
Packrafting
Mania (Dihedral)
Packrafting is an increasingly diverse sport; as such, depending on the type of water being paddled, any of our blades may be appropriate. However, the Mania has an area of 650cm2, which will give plenty of power without straining the paddler, and its dihedral shape makes it very forgiving. Due to the beam (width) of most pack rafts, the paddle is forced to adopt quite a low-angle stroke, and the Mania is cut with this in mind.
